Strawberry Point Christian Camp 2016

I wanted to take the time to thank the Island Community Church for the blessing of allowing me to serve at Strawberry Point this summer. More than this, thank you for how you have given to the Camp through laundry, meals, cookies, servicing motors, financial donations, bible classes and crafts and the countless behind the scene volunteer hours before, during and after and for all the prayers uttered in between these moments of service. Thank You! Through the beauty of nature, all our different camp activities & a dedication to spiritual formation we worked hard together this summer in developing and giving each kid a deeper understanding of their relationship with a loving and caring God. I continue to be very proud to be a part of this work at SPCC. I believe it is a faithful witness to the goodness of God and a demonstration of the commitment of Godly people seeking to bless others because of that goodness. SPCC continues to be an opportunity to serve our immediate community and have an impact on the lives of young people by giving them a place to see and experience the beauty of God in nature but also in a caring loving staff that is committed to helping each camper grow in heart, soul, strength and mind and teaching them to love their neighbour as they love themselves.
